Tortricid Moth

Epiblema glenni

Description:

Small moth with mottled brown/gray coloration. Whitish band across middle of wings. Bird poop mimic. The moth has a habit of flying and then dropping onto a leaf, making the mimicry all the better.

Habitat:

Suburban garden.

Notes:

This is my best guess for this species. I don't have much more information on this moth. Please correct me if I am wrong.
