Eastern Grey Kangaroo

Macropus giganteus

Description:

If I'm misidentifying a Western Grey Kangaroo, let me know. I have a difficult time telling them apart, and my camera at the time I shot this photo was only 3.6 megapixels. This one is also missing a chunk of ear, I'm assuming because of a fight.

Habitat:

One of dozens spotted along the Great Ocean Road, but easily the best, most detailed photo out all the ones I took.

Notes:

Taken with no zoom because apparently I had a death wish at the time. Don't emulate me, kids.
