Habitat:

Disturbed field in suburban park.

Notes:

There were lots of this scraggly looking plant about waist height. I've never noticed it before (II have photographed in this area regularly) They were in bloom with single thin curved tubular flowers . It has sparce small leaves, the plant was mostly twiggy. Some of the taller ones had thicker dark brown/purple main stems as seen in pic 3.
