Description:

This turkey vulture looks strange because his back is covered with ice. There was an ice storm when this was taken and was suprised to see that this turkey vulture had ice on his back. This is a large dark brown bird with red head and legs. Long squared tail. Ivory tail. Female same as male.

Habitat:

This turkey vulture was spotted with about 4 others high in a tree at St Bernard State Park in Braithwaite, Louisana.

I felt sorry for them also. All of the vultures had ice on their backs.
