Description:

Common Frullania (Leafy Liverwort) - These plants are related to mosses and have a similar life cycle. Liverworts may be leafy like mosses, but the leaves are in two rows and flattened. A third row can be on the underside. The leaves are never in spirals.

Habitat:

Tree trunks & rocks. This type is on a Birch tree. Usually with moss.
