Today's high was 84F, and it was quite humid. Rather warm for the beginning of October in eastern Virginia.
How cool was the weather? Maybe they were taking advantage of accumulated heat in the pavement.
I'm not sure why these guineafowl were crossing the road. It seemed they would have preferred just standing there instead of moving for the occasional vehicle. :)
