Orange bluets

Enallagma signatum

Description:

These orange bluets are generally found in the late afternoon. I've seen many pairs at this pond, and all the females seem to be the green color form (as opposed to the blue or orange). I often see them alongside familiar bluets, and they are noticeably smaller.
