Ladybugs are widely recognized for their role in controlling voracious plant pests such as aphids and scale insects. Not surprisingly, in many cultures coccinellid beetles are considered harbingers of good luck and a bountiful harvest.

Notes:

Yellow abdomen with no pattern. Pronotum, white or transparent with two black spots.
