Patched Leaf Moth

Monoctenia falernaria


Brown/pink toned moth with a few variable sqiggly dark lines on each wing. The thorax is very hairy The underside a most gorgeous purple shade. Very large fanned antennae


Flew onto the back deck , attracted to the lights, landed on a glass sliding door , for a nice clear underside shot.
