Nerodia fasciata confluens
The juveniles of this species are much more brightly patterened than the adults, with lots of yellow, red, and black.
They are found in the southeastern US, from Florida to Texas in aquatic habitats.
These two juveniles were found at a pond in the park in my dads neighborhood.

Aha, that solves a bit of a mystery for me Ashley! Thanks for letting me know. I knew you knew the scientific name just couldn't figure out why it was omitted:-)
Anytime I add a spotting from my phone, the scientic name doesn't show up, then I forget sometimes to go and add it when I get to my computer later, thanks for noticing Lisa :) I'll add it now.
And no Argy I don't think so, I was just walking next to a pond and they were just sitting there, never moved
Is that 2 doing the dance?
Hey Ashley,
Since you know the id, please add the scientific name!
