Small freshwater fish, not exceeding 10 cm in length, with a dark spot near the tail.
Observed in Visovac lake, in shallower waters surrounding the Visovac island - all this in Krka NP (Croatia). In Krka NP, Krka river forms a series of waterfalls and lakes; it is surrounded by a magnificent dense broad-leaved forest, and its shallow coastal waters are rich in vegetation.
