Galapagos Land Iguana

Description:

Unique Iguana, endemic to Galapagos. Had become extinct on the Island of Baltra, but was re-introduced by the Charles Darwin Foundation and the Galapagos National Park, after the removal of introduced goats and cats. It now thrives there.

Habitat:

Dry land on Galapagos.
