Description:

ON a bank overlooking the Chobe River. The Martial Eagle is an apex predator, requiring large territories, thus being limited in population. The adult bird has a dark head and neck. Juveniles take 7 years to develop their full plumage.

Notes:

We were lucky to see this guy again after he caught a young monitor lizard
