Hercules, the Kunekune pig

Kunekune

Description:

Hercules, a pretty large adult male Kunekune pig, at Willowbanks Zoo Park, Christchurch New Zealand...When he was a piglet he was so small he lived with the Guinea Pigs in the Park. Although he seems pretty scary (and to some -ugly), he is a very gentle, friendly and cuddly animal, seeking for company and affection... Please, no "dentist" jokes, his charm is in his tusks ;)

Oh God, I just love that boy!

Dear @ChristosMaroulis, he is a beast with a heart of gold ;)

Dear @Hema Shah, I just found out that when he was a piglet, he used to live with the guinea pigs in the park, he was so small...

Dear @Neil Ross, @Hema Shah and Christos Maroulis, sorry for the delay of my answers (just updated some information about that gentle Kunekune, and came across your comments)...

Well, he was just very cudly, but because of his appearance no one wanted to go closer, except from me :)

A friend of mine who saw the pics in FB, said that this animal was the inspiration for the "Predator" movie, while the rest of my fiends were making "dentist" comments...
Oh well he is a "strange" animal, with big tusks, and it's normal to read such comments...But look how he is closing his eyes when I am caressing him :)

Well, dear @Manas Protim Gohain, except from his killer smile, he was an apraised pure bred boar, who happened to be the proud father of all the kunekune piglets in the park...And that's make him somekind of special member, for his species :)

Dear @PerilsOfPlastic, since I met the kunekune pigs in New Zealand, I am pretty sure they can make the perfect pets! They, are friendly, easy trained, very intelligent and don't root for food + they are a rare species...
Well the adult males are a bit scary (nobody was coming closer to that boar, because of his tusks), but that doesn't mean that they' re dangerous too!

Dear @auntnance123, remember the fairy tale, "the Beauty and the Beast"??? In his case we should say "the Beauty IN the Beast"...
He was adorable!
