Elacatinus nesiotes
* This Spotting is not the White Tip Shark but the small fish on the Shark's face. Small and elongated, blunt head red to beyond pectoral fins, three thin whitish bars on head; ten broad orange-brown bars on whitish body. Two separated dorsal fins, fins transparent. Size around 2.5 cm (1 inch)
Perches on rocky reefs and walls. From 5 to 30 meters. Solitary. Feeds on small invertebrates and 'cleans' external parasites from larger fish like in this case, a White Tip Shark.
Endemic to Cocos & Galapagos Island.

This organism, I believe is new to Project Noah.
The information on the description I provided was from the Fish ID of Cocos Island which was made available to guests when I was on the live aboard Boat during the trip.
