St. Martins Flower

Alstroemeria ligtu

Description:

grows from a tuber, grass like leaves

Habitat:

southern temperate forest

Notes:

The flowering season for Alstroemeria was nearly finished by the time I visited in Nahuelbuta national park. I found this one last flower still in decent shape. There is no photo of the plant because there wasn't much to it.
