Trimezia martinicensis is a species of bulbous plant in the family Iridaceae. Originally from Central and South America and the West Indies, it is widely naturalized throughout the Tropics. Related species Neomarica longifolia is a native to tropical regions of western Africa, Central and South America. Common names include Yellow Walking Iris, Forenoon Yellow Flag, Apostle's Iris, Apostle's Plant. Source: Wikipedia.
