The Hvid Dansk Landkanin was created in 1902 by Julius Schiøtz, who was director of the Copenhagen Zoo. It was bred as a pure albino breed, partly by crossing with white Belgian rabbit.
The breed is now endangered...

I am aware of the pet category, this is not a pet it is a domestic animal used for meat and fur.
These are beautiful rabbits! I hope they are able to keep the breed alive. However, I must ask you to please move this to the "Pets" section.
Domestic animals like cats, dogs and rabbits (or any other "pet" animal) should be placed in the "Pets" section, even if it is not yours specifically. This helps with the data collection and helps other Users with identification. Thanks!
