Description:

Small (maybe 3/4 of an inch) white haired caterpillar. The face is black and the body appears to be black and white. The hairs are very long compared to the diameter of the body - maybe four times higher than the body height.

Habitat:

Corkscrew Swamp, Florida

Hi Kymberlee. This isn't a hickory tussock moth caterpillar. Your caterpillar lacks black lashes.
