The cats were chasing this insect around in the house. I am glad I was able to rescue him before he got harmed. Medium sized black assassin bug. Shiny prothorax and modified forlegs (notice the enlarged portions, especially in photos 3 and 4.
Found inside a house. Normally found in natural environments.
