Upright to widely sprawling, densely hairy, aromatic annual to 6 ft. Stem solitary, usually much branched, the branches slender, few leaved. Plants have gland-tipped hairs, making them sticky to the touch. Flowers are yellow, 15-35 ray flowers, 35-40 disk flowers. Leaves are alternate, rough, the margins coarsely toothed.
Edge between rocky shoreline of Belton Lake and mixed herbacious and short woody plants.
