Blue-winged Minla

Minla cyanouroptera

Description:

Small, slender, with longish tail. Bluish-black crown streaks and blue wing edges and tail. Pale rust colour on back.

Habitat:

Neora Valley Jungle Camp. About 3 hours drive from the coordinates shown. Remote hilly forested area. Himalayan foothills.

Notes:

The second photo gives an idea about the vegetation into which it dives at a moment's notice. It was sheer luck that I got two shots. The first is a cropped version of the last pic.
