Description:

Conspicuous song bird with yellow belly and breast contrasted by a black 'V'. Song, "its sweet to me".

Habitat:

Open areas, north american grasslands and prairies. Migrates south.

Notes:

This bird was at Yellow Barn Marsh at Pratt's Wayne Woods.
