Adanson's House Jumper

Hasarius adansoni

Description:

Salticidae; Salticinae; Hasarius; H. adansoni (Audouin, 1826). I am pretty sure this one is a female, because the males are black, this one is more brownish and its abdomen is what Wikipedia calls "somewhat rufous" - reddish brown. This species is extremely common here. They can be seen almost every day.

Habitat:

Spotted in front garden. It had been hanging around for a few days, but I was always busy chasing after other bugs that were new to my collection. However, I had a quiet day and decided to go out and take some snaps of it rather than have a blank day.
