Hi Karan Raghwa! The purple swamphen has been split into 6 different species, and the Indian subcontinent one which used to be considered a subspecies of the purple swamphen has been elevated to full species status in 2015 and is now known as the grey-headed swamphen, Porphyrio poliocephalus. Beautiful shot!
