Darker Spotted Straw Moth

Description:

Light colored wings with darker colored bands and spots. Body is thick and fuzzy. Eyes are gray and antennae are thin and long. Mostly known to be noctural, they do come out in daylight to feed on flowers.

Habitat:

Lower elevation fields, shrubs with flowers. This one was spotted in a shrub in large park.
