Campanula spatulata

Description:

Slender herb with blue-mauve flowers approx 4cm across with 5 petals open for the sun.

Habitat:

Limestone mountainside southeasterly aspect approx 300m elevation amongst low shrubs.

Notes:

Similar to the Australian genus Wahlenbergia, except flowers larger. Not 100% sure of this ID. Also see Helmut Baumann 'Wildflowers of Greece' p82 plate145.
