Lebombo Flat Lizard

Platysaurus intermedius lebomboensis

Description:

A colourful lizard, blue-green under the chin, and with orange stripes along the body and tail.

Habitat:

Rocky areas in savannah/woodland.

Notes:

This species is endemic to the Lubombo Mountains (Swaziland/South Africa). It is frequently seen within Mlawula Nature Reserve in rocky areas.
