Description:

On Anegada, these orchids grow above ground, mainly attached to a bush that we call "torchwood"). The roots wrap themselves around the outside of the torchwood down near the base of the bush, and the bloom spikes extend up out of the bush, usually ending about 5 or 6 feet in the air.

Habitat:

Scrubby area near Cow Wreck Beach, on Anegada, BVI.
