Gray Treefrog Froglet

Hyla versicolor

Description:

Variable in color, they can be gray to green to allow themselves to blend with their surroundings. They have warty skin like a toad, and have bright yellow thighs that distinguish them from other tree frog species. The exception being Cope's Gray Tree Frog, which can only be distinguished by their call or counting their chromosomes.

Habitat:

They are in most of the Eastern half of the US and also into Canada. They are found in wooded areas with freshwater sources nearby.

Notes:

Found this guy just hanging out on the edge of a pond, I have a good eye for finding tiny things :)
