Convergent Ladybug

Hippodamia convergens

Description:

Often seen as "The Good Ladybug". This convergent ladybug is probably around due to my garden, and I'm glad to see them as that means a shortage of aphids. This little guy was inside so I quickly scooped him up and plopped him back down into my garden.

Habitat:

The most common lady beetle species throughout North America.
