It has a reddish-brown cap, and a whitish stem with white hairs at the base..the stipe also starts darker and toward the cap lightens when young.Cap smooth and velvety . Gills crowded, white at first then pale orange; spore print white.
Rotting wood.....was close by and these where growing in the surrounding leaf litter.
