I double-checked with a European moth site. I'm pretty sure you're correct. The wing shape wasn't quite right for Cyclophora.

I put a suggestion there Steve. I'm definitely not a professional entomologist though. It's just what I've picked up in here over a couple of years. We try to learn something about everything. There are some really good ID people here though. I'm sure bayucca or Nuwan will correct me when they come online :-)
