Emma,the saffron that i buy is cheap,a supermarket brand,that only as a little % of caxemir saffron,the europeans varietys dont have neither the flavour,nor the super yellow ink propertys(on food) that the indian varietys have,portuguese where super exploitement guy's they would'nt miss the oportunity of produced a super expensiv spice here :) i dont know xactly the price of the pure caxemir saffron here,but i'am sure that will be a fortune :)

What is the cost of saffron if I may ask?

Thanks Emma ,we use saffron in the food ,but the indian(caxemira) one,this one is not suficient strong ,but is edible :)
