Markings of the Cactus Wren remind me of a Roadrunner. Mixture of shades of brown, buff and white. Back is brown and rusty color in streaks, Chest and belly is light colored with rusty brown spots. Bold light stripe over eye with rusty colored head. Long curved bill.
