Civet? Dhole? Fox? Adding size and location type to the description would be very helpful for this spotting.
Thank u ForestDragon. Do I have to look around for any other signs? As the area was covered with dry leaves, I could not trace any pug marks.
This looks a lot like some sort of mammal feces. Similar to a canine or other carnivore. I have moved this to the Mammals section for you.
