If you have the chance, try to go to Gunung Mulu National Park.
The trails are very good, and they even allows unguided night walks, which will be very productive.

Lambir Hills National Park is also very nice too.
Both places, you go from Miri.

I think the rest of the places in Sabah, Chun can easily show you :p

I just spotted this a few nights ago. I don't like centipedes but I couldn't resist photographing it, and plus it was very cooperative and stayed still while I fumbled getting my tripod into place. Now that I am in Malaysian Borneo, I see we have a lot of spots in common. Any favorite places for spotting I should check out?
