Description:

The antenna is very close to the eye. Its body is cylindrical, with red on top and black underneath. Red body has black spots.

Habitat:

Meadows and roadsides with milkweed.

Notes:

Also called an "Eastern Milkweed Longhorn." Adults are impervious to milkweed poison.
