I do not even think it is the genus, it was just to illustrate the family Arctiidae.

Tienes mucha razón, Beyucca, muchas gracias, si son algo parecidas, con la que tu me mencionas. Aunque creo que no sea esa especie, pero si el genero.

Arctiidae, note the head. I never have seen the head of a Megalopygidae, always hidden ;-)...
Reminds me somehow of the Milkweed Tussock Moth, Euchaetes egle?

Hola, esta larva se conoce localmente como "pollitos" y considero se trata de un ejemplar de Megalopygidae
