Flowers Echinocactus.

Echinopsis sp.

Description:

This cactus blooms at night and its flowers are open until the morning but only few hours. They are pollinated by little insects.

Notes:

These photos were taken at my neighborhood, #1-3 at night and #4-5 this morning. The incredible weight of this flowers bent this cactus, like is shown in photo #4.

It does help, thanks. It looks like Echinopsis or Echinocactus.

I couldn't get a good pic of the plant with the flowers, because this is damaged due the weigh of flowers and the wind. But I added a pic of the same species of cactus that it is just beside of the first one. I hope this helps. :-)

Not at this moment, but I will add a pic of the cactus for you. The cactus is erect, I mean without arms.

Do you have a pic of the cactus?
