Description:

This amazing slug is enjoying some fresh fungus for breakfast. Also known as the great grey slug or banana slug, the leopard slug was introduced from Europe and is now common in many parts of the US.

Habitat:

Damp areas in woods and meadows. This one was feeding on mushrooms under red oak trees.
