Emydoidea blandingi
Blanding's Turtles are larger than the more common Painted Turtles. They have a long neck with a yellow throat.
These turtles can be found in the midwestern states and the northeast US where they are uncommon and state listed. This one was at Great Meadows NWR which has one of the largest populations in Massachusetts.
