Crabapple blossoms appear in April to May. A crabapple tree in full bloom is absolutely beautiful. This spotting at a public park in Maryland is in its budding stage and still breathtaking. There are over 35 species and 700 cultivated varieties of crabapples and they have been a part of the home landscape for many years. Blossoms often open from pink or red buds and change to paler shades after opening, creating a beautiful pink cloud lasting several weeks.
These blooming crabapple blooms were spotted at Kinder Farm Park in Anne Arundel County, Millersville, Maryland.
