sorry for the blurry shot. the plant it was standing on was moving rapidly and after taking a few shots, it flew away before i can get a good shot.
it fits the description on Wikipedia except ("widened abdomen"). i also searched the pictures on the web and all red dragonflies or Crocothemis erythraea have a widened abdomen. The one i saw had very slim abdomen. can this be a different member of the genus? or is it a scarlet Dragonfly?
