Cicada

Description:

Large insect with huge eyes. The terminal parts of the wings appear to have transparent patches. Colour was dark green, almost black, as far as I could make out in the dim light.

Habitat:

Bon Farmhouse, village Kewzing. A remote village in Sikkim. Himalayan foothills. Lush vegetation. It clung to the wall almost at foot-level but was gone the next morning.
