Spotted on the edge of a dirt road. Pine forest nearby. 2000 ft a.s.l.
Thank you very much Neil, Lauren and Danielle. I had taken the picture a year ago and for some reason I didn't think much of it. Then a couple of days ago I'm looking at it and realized the cracked surface was really cool and interesting.
