I do, yes, in the Spanish mountains north of Madrid. I often get to fly with Vultures, Eagles, Kites, Storks etc. Mostly in the summer though, just occasionally in the winter.
Do you go gliding? (as in a glider) My dad's interested in that. He goes Paragliding, and when he gets a licence, I will go with him to photograph the Kestrels, Buzzards, Hawks, and other birds he flies with!
30-70. ok. Unfortunately, seeing as I have school, Kendo, Chinese, French, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Polish, Coursework (DINO 101 on COURSERA) I don't really have much time. I wish you good birding!
If you walk along looking at reeds chances are you will not see anything. Find a shady spot to sit unobstrusively, best is in a bird hide, then sit quietly, watch and wait. After some time you will see movement as the hidden birds come out for food and drink. The longer you wait the more chance of seeing more birds. Remember, if people make a noise, even just talking quietly, the birds may stay hidden or move elsewhere. Many people who walk round our marshes say they only see about 10 species of bird, my usual figure is 30-70 species in 3-4 hours.

Very nice. How'd you spot it in the reeds?
