Romalea guttata, known commonly as the eastern lubber grasshopper or just lubber grasshopper, is a grasshopper native to the southeastern and south central portion of the United States.

Hey James what's going on? This is exactly the same photo as your spotting of 3 days ago but the colour and date has changed dramatically. Actual and valid name is now Romalea microptera. Romalea guttata was a synonym, but is outdated or "nomen oblitum".
