Shingleback Skink

Tiliqua rugosa

Description:

Of all the blue tongues, sub-species, and genus as a whole; the shingleback is my favorite. Look at them! They look like tiny dragons. And they're so symmetrical, look at that second photo, can you tell where their head is? Shinglebacks like all blue tongues are incredibly docile, calm, and intelligent lizards. They like the eastern blue tongue are common pet trade species.

Habitat:

Native to Australia.
