Description:

Leafy Liverwort. Leaves succubous, unlobed, circular to oblong; serrate on margins, reflexed.

Habitat:

Although usual to wet cliffs, shelves, and stream banks, this specimen was collected from the margin of a sphagnum bog associated with Sphagnum henryense.

and that is tiny! I found similar looking, but it was ~9cm. But I guess that mine is Plagiochila asplenioides :)

For Liverworts I used a key published by the California Botanical society. Its called Madrono. It is pretty good for Washington state, but there are still allot of liverworts that it doesn't cover. I use a similar key for mosses. But for all my sphagnum moss have to used many different keys. This specimen was probably 1-5 cm tall

And how tall was this moss? :)
